My Lionel Nickle Plate Road 587 (6-84532) is having quality control issues. The issue is that when I blow the whistle the whistle steam effect is mainly emitting water droplets of smoke fluid and not very much whistle steam. I have not been overfilling this engine at all and I only received it last night. If anyone from Lionel or anyone on the ogrforum knows the solution please let me know. I will post a video of what is happening later

Sounds like there is an air bubble blocking the tube. This used to happen to my Vision Hudson when I first got it. I know it sounds silly, but try to gently blow down the hole to clear the blockage. This might not be the best advice but it worked for me.
I have to agree with NSD here. I had this happen more than a couple times with the Vision 700E and Southern Crescent PS-4. I doubt it's worse than a fluid bubble blocking the hole. It's annoying, but it shouldn't be something serious that you need to send to Lionel's tech support, at least so far.
A small shot of compressed air from a can of compressed air (used to clean keyboards and electronics)
down the whistle hole and main stack will also help to get rid of the bubbles. Same thing as blowing down the stack but the straw on the can gives you a bit more control and force.
