While the MTH website is down, I still found a link to the catalog: https://mthtrains.com/sites/de...5/index.html?page=13

Nothing really in there for me. Although I'm intrigued by the "Gold Plated" Chessie ES44.

Are there really that many people wanting to buy Big Boys, N&W Js, GS4 Daylights, and PRR G5s to have them in seemingly back-to-back catalogs for the past several years? .....yawn!

I was really hoping to see the PRR DD-1 electric. I don't think that thing has been made since circa 2002. Maybe next year....

Well, my wallet will be happy at least. Only ordering some Premier freight.

1. RF&P 50' boxcar

2. Spokane Moulding all door boxcar

3. American Grain 3-bay centerflow (will be a nice counterpoint to the Canada/Saskatchewan cars)

Several nice switchers to choose from, but no paint schemes that interest me. Nice to see the Premier RS-11s, but again not in a scheme I want. Would like to see it in Northern Pacific black & yellow. Almost went for the UP ribbon unit but I have enough ES44s.

Maybe next year we will get the Premier Southern 630/722. Hint, hint Mr. Wolf.

I'd order an accurate, scale model of Southern 630 faster than the speed of light.
