Thank you very much.  Of course it worked.  My next challenge is to attach a new shell that has no posts for screws.  It's just an empty box.  The good news is that it fits perfectly.  I am thinking about using L-shaped connectors that I could glue to the inside of the shell and onto the floor of the chassis, where it wouldn't be seen when the doors are open.  Has anyone done anything like this?

With electronics and speaker inside, the doors should be closed at all times. What shell are you installing?
