Here is my scratch built Transfer Table. It is quite easy to build and I used an inexpensive electric screwdriver coupled to a threaded rod to power the table. The October 2009 issue of Classic Toy Trains Magazine has detailed instructions on how I built it. A back issue is available here:

Dave from Dearborn.....very nice indeed. Your creative talent is obvious. That transfer table is great! I love to see the neat scratch built...homemade....one-of a- kind projects displayed by all yinz forumites. I propose a "Hall of Fame For Creative Railroad Modelers"" for the creative forumites who inspire me and a lot of others. Some of those on this list would be:

Dave from Dearborn

Brother-Love... AKA Malcolm

Sirt

King Mouse....AKA Dave

Stur-It.....Thom

Neil Schorr

Scrap Iron

Jim Policastro

Jeff Sohn

Norm Cham......(I can't spell French names)

Heck....this list could take up a whole day to type.....Any more recommendations?

Looks and runs great David. I like the threaded Rod drive shaft idea, it must be fun to play with.

I'm working on one that is taking me forever to complete. It seems other things around the house always get in the way. But I have to admit your low budget idea has it all over what I'm trying to do, at lest it's done and working.

I'll post pictures when ever it gets done, until then you will be having fun playing with yours.
