Always fun to see these classic trains still at work, on the USA main lines.

I wish i had done a figure 8..very cool...good reason to have an interlocker tower. Who made yours?
The Lumar Valley portion of my layout. I will be reworking it a bit "soon" to add an elevated line for my New Marx IRT set.

Steve,
Those aluminum passenger cars are heavy for those Santa fe's are you running two power units?

Electroliner,
I made my tower. LOL
It is a selectively compressed, sized to fit, toy train styled model of the old Boylan tower that once stood in Raleigh, NC. I drew it up on the computer and printed it out on cardstock. Even the semaphore heads. Thanks!

I took your advice and found the "aluminum" tape you recommended to redo my Marx streamline cars. The layout colors really pop out..Your layout and Handy Andy's makes me want to backdate my own. I just found an unusual Marx two story colonial house which is not a doll house. It has lithographed vines growing on the exterior...Once it arrives, I can post a picture of it..I need your expertise to confirm it's Marx as that was the claim of the seller.

For all their faults, the Marx 21's are pretty cool locomotives. When you realize the Marx engines are lithographed sheet metal and not plastic like Lionel's, it's just amazing!

Thanks! That's the look I was shooting for!
