It's time for WEEKEND PHOTO FUN!!
Open House this Weekend at the Roanoke Valley Model Railroad Club. We will be there this Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 12-4 and have 8 layouts on display including mine in the video below. We are located in the basement of the Virginia Museum of Transportation (entrance is in the back). There is no charge for visiting the club.
Earlier this week I set up the Christmas layout at the Virginia Museum of Transportation.

A PRR Class J Texas races an M1a across the bridge carrying the Middle Division over Tuscarora Creek:
While seemingly unaware of what is going on high above them, canoeists paddle their way down the creek towards the Juniata River:
The Tri-Polar ( Polar Express Bi-Polar) makes an advanced appearance at Kodiak Junction to ready the way for the Polar Express Berkshire Christmas Eve run. The Bi-Polar is hauling coal, reindeer food, presents and Hot Chocolate and Cookies!

A short (25sec) Christmas train video......the Reindeer Train is mine and the sleek Christmas Passenger belongs to my modular colleague PeterM. This is on our 12x15 layout which features "Menardsville" at last weekend's annual Science Museum of Virginia show......

Lionel Legacy Long Island Rail Road G-54sa Camelback 4-6-0 #18 on my 12’-by-8’ model railroad - pulling two LIRR wood-sided passenger cars as it might have done during the early years of the twentieth century.

Lower Patsburg is a busy place.
Three levels of three rails with three trains. ( well I guess we can count a trolly as a train. :-)

Hiking up the steep hill I discovered this old junk car and more importantly a WM Consolidation taking on water at the tank.

Spotted in the yard this morning ... the Candy Cane Express ... is ready for its' Saturday run delivering toys and goodies to the children of Patsburg and surrounding area. 
Shameless self-promotion, but graphics I prepared for marketing of Sunset P42s. The line drawings were prepared in AutoCAD while I used Photoshop for the graphics work. I have three more to wrap up before I move onto researching ALCo FAs. This is more or less how I am enjoying my hobby these days as my personal trains have taken a bit of a backseat. Great photos everyone!

Here's two more images from the area of my layout that portrays Conrail in the mid 1980's. Here a Atlas MP15 switches a string of two bay covered hoppers in and out of the siding serving Pennsylvania Glass Sand (US Silica today):

I am glad that you are okay. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a photograph on this forum of you carrying a box of trains into a run down looking house, with a woman sitting on the stairs pointing a gun at you. That woman should be locked up. Please avoid that woman and stay safe!!
