Been searching for o scale modern looking prebuilt ready to install on layout buildings like a midwest farm machinery shed type of building and come up empty on searching web, here, and auction site. Really don't even see anything in kit form either.
Anybody know of some sources I am missing?

I think you need to show a picture of what you are talking about. Woodland scenics has just released some sheds but they are more like tool and garden sheds than something that will hold a farm tractor.

Ertl made some Farm Country play sets and John Deere farm equipment that is slightly smaller than O scale, but is quite usable especially if it is in the distance. They have a tractor shed and other farm out buildings. They can be found on the ebay or sometimes at shows.
