Looking to gauge the response. Is anyone interested in an O gauge U25C? I am hoping to pressure MTH into making one since they already have the truck side frames from the E44 and E33 electrics as well as the fuel tank from the U25C and U30C models.

HEre are some sample paint schemes:

That might be a tuff sale. Only 113 units were made, but most went on to their successors Roads.

Correct - BUT look at the color schemes and different roads across this great nation that had them!

Can't wait to see how your "pressure MTH" policy works out!

yes it's also called the "Squeaky Wheel" so it gets the grease!

So if anyone is interested in seeing this model, please clecik on the link below and request MTH to make it. Keep in mind Most of the parts are made from other models, MTH just needs to place the parts together!

Dang it, yes. U-boats even talk to a steam-head like me. And the U25C was old enough

to have the Tri-mount trucks...yeah, I'd be tempted.

U-Boats are so much more appealing than EMD locos of the same era - I think partly because they were usually lower and better-proportioned (only modelers/fans care about that).

But I'd be MORE tempted if Lionel or Atlas or K-Line (no - wait...phooey!) made it,

TMCC and all that. But, MTH...sure...DEFINITELY if dummies showed up again.
