At the same time that York was going off, I arranged an annual Railway Festival in my little village. We had various layouts in a number of community buildings, live steam train rides, helicopter joyflights, market stalls etc. Our little village of Murrurundi, was an important railway town in the late 1800's through to the mid 20thC. Our fellow forum member Bill O'Connell is the first US visitor here.

That coal drag is pretty nice. A handsome engine, 2-6-2?, interesting coal cars and one heck of a caboose.
Dave, good show. Can you tell us a bit about the green engine. Being an old helicopter squadron guy, I am curious what was flying.
