Depending on what type of track you are using and how much clearance your equipment needs, you'll need to do some homework on your track layout. I would recommend that you get track planning software (AnyRail and SCARM have free versions) and do some trial setups with your actual track and trains to see what you can fit together in your space.

That is one very nice bridge, Mike CT.  I particularly like the griders and pier details, etc.  Also a very well worked-out twist to it - looks natural - very prototypical.

 

I serached through older postings and found one of this bridge (and others) from 2011.  It seems that Brian Cooper is no longer in business, is that right?

I serached through older postings and found one of this bridge (and others) from 2011.  It seems that Brian Cooper is no longer in business, is that right?  He usually could be contacted at the Eastern TCA meet at York, PA.  He had a booth next to Ross Custom Switches.  As I said it has been several years.   He had done a lot of work for the NJ Hi-Railers at one time.  I haven't seen anything current.

At the time I had done a fabricated deck bridge with an MTH graduated trestle kit and blocks of wood.  I did a full scale template using poster board, delivered it to Brian, and he did a great job on the project.

The crude beam structure was done with a dado on a table saw.  Poplar wood.
