Here's the product number 20-2435-1 I just ask since I've never seen a picture of it yet.

with a search, it says delivered in 2003. So I would guess, it was made. I haven't seen it myself.
Have to be careful at times they still have items listed as delivered even though from my understanding were actually cancelled. One item in particular was the Norfolk Southern Weed Sprayer Set which shows delivered around the same time frame but was not actually made.
Wouldn't count on it, I have seen lots of things getting cancelled, like the McKeen Motor car and a several years ago, 4 Premier Berkshires..
FWIW the only non-UP version of the MTH DDA40X (MTH wrongly designated them "DD40AX") I have actually seen was the model in Santa Fe Warbonnet livery. I've never seen a BNSF version or a CSX, which were the other two cataloged. I would not be surprised if they were in fact never made.
These questions come up every so often. What surprises me is that there is a website for that - MTH has one, to state the obvious, and it will tell you whether something was delivered or cancelled - yet so many here just don't go look at the site.
You're on the internet right now, if you are reading this.
I think one person above looked at the site. And it's not just the old guys (and I'm an old guy) who don't do this.
No skin off my nose, but it is always a surprise when I see someone using the Internet who doesn't use the Internet.

MTH and Lionel websites are not 100% accurate. Specifically, there are items on the MTH website that don't show cancelled but delivered but were never actually made. These though are from years ago around the same time period as listed above. Also I have found that some road numbers published are different from what was actually produced. Members above had mentioned that they had only seen the UP, but not the BNSF and I looked the other day to see if I could locate one but to no availability.
Thanks for the LA wisdom on stating the obvious on how to use the internet. (LA - not referring to California for those from the West Coast)
