Hi everyone.

This is entirely my own fault. I swapped out a poorly responsive R2LC board but failed to line the plugs up correctly (DOH !!) Made a mess of the R2LC!!

I have now swapped out the board for a new one and for good measure changed the motherboard as I had the correct spare. After a full reset I now have all the functions but only in reverse.

Have I managed to damage the motor driver PCB do you think? can this be fixed or is there something else I can try to get my engine to respond to "forward"

I am running in TMCC

Thanks guys.

Using a voltmeter, check the voltage on the motor as you cycle the loco into reverse. It should change polarity, and the motor should reverse. If the polarity changes, but the motor does not reverse, then the motor electronics may be bad.

If the polarity does not change at the motor, then one of the boards may be faulty. Try swapping them out with known good boards. If the boards are good and the polarity still does not change, then the transmitter may be suspect in that it is not sending out the proper signal to the boards.

In any case, swap out all components one at a time until the system works properly.
