I was about to wire up my DZ1000 switches to 2 TMCC ASC's. With LCS is there any benefit of the LCS ASC's vs. the older TMCC ASC's? I see that you can use the SER2 to convert the signal of the older ASC's. I don't have LCS yet but am starting to look into it. I would also want to use a BPC too.

No benefit that I've found. If you already have the ASC's wire them up and use them using a SER2.

The BPC is a different story. The new one (BPC2) is very different than the original. It has two groups of four outputs each. The old one had a few different ways to wire it up for your particular needs. In conventional it was good for bringing a train out of a yard and sending it to different tracks using the same power source. In command it's not needed.
