Got the Legacy system all hooked up and running, but I cannot figure out how to use the Station Sounds Diner with the 990 system. This is the SF Station Sounds Diner from 2005. Will it only work with TMCC Command Base? I had to remove the Command Base when I hooked up the Legacy system because the cable from the Legacy base now runs directly to one of my TIU's so I can run DCS as well. Would appreciate any help guys. Thanks.

Assign it as a passenger car in the info menu. It will give you icons for that car. I believe but this is from memory, that once passenger car is selected it will default the remote to TMCC mode. If it doesn't, I believe it is the correct setting for passenger car.

I run mine as TMCC with the passenger car overlay, Marty is spot-on with his description.

I wish they didn't cancel the NYC 20th century limited StationSounds Diner car.
My Southwind station sounds diner worked perfectly with the 990. I just set it on program, assigned it an ID then set some ID options (passenger car etc). Worked great!
But the velocity dial is broken so my 990 is on its way back to Lionel for repair.
