That's me and my brother--I'm David and my brother is Douglas.
I was the most blessed boy in Weirton, WV.
Still am, in many, many ways.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Here's my dad putting together a Marx windup set. I was 3 years old at the time and have no recollection of that train. I do remember a Lionel set that I received when I was 7 years old I wish I had some photos of that.

Christmas 1972. My father, Frank Sr., nudges the train a bit while my brother, Frank Jr. mugs for the camera. You can see my hat brim and my hand on the orange cable reels just to the left of my Uncle's knee. Wish I still had that Marx Masterpieces Western Town!

Thanks to Scale Rail for starting this terrific thread, and to all who posted photos and replies.
Regrettably, although I have all of the family LIONEL trains, Plasticville, LIONEL accessories, and etc. from the GREAT Postwar era of LIONEL, I have no photos--only very fond memories.
Thanks, again, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.

I was born in West Virginia but Dad went to work for Ashland Oil soon after.....thus we were there for a number of years.
Not a member of the club but attend the Thanksgiving show when I can.

Now that's a dad with artistic vision! Great layout!

I'll have to look to see if there's anything else. Mom was a pretty bad photographer so most of them are out of focus (which I didn't think you could do with a point and shoot Kodak!).
Last call for Christmas Pictures before I start the edit of the Christmas Card Video. Will start December 14. Don
Can use just a few more pictures of your kids/you with Santa and or trains. Thanks Don
