I was hoping someone at some time had modeled a 10-wheeler or Mountain Type 4-8-2.

I just pre-ordered a Lionel 10-Wheeler from the 24 Bigbook to have a Harry Heike renumber.

I have 5 Weaver Cotton Belt coaches that I picked up for a very fair price that I am looking for a locomotive for.  So far, it appears that the Cotton Belt was early to dieselize and that RS3's did many of the shorter run routes.  Any information posted here would be most appreciated.  I am mainly interested in finding a steam locomotive for these cars, but I'll live with a diesel as it is not a road I model too seriously.  Four of my cars are Pullman green and the 5th is in the controlling road's SP Daylight colors.

I have 3 Weaver Green Coaches and 4 of the Atlas they made after buying the Weaver molds in the Daylight. I have a RS3 and the new Lionel Alcos, I think from 2022. But I want Steam!!!! I model Trains that ran through Texas mostly. The SLSW has been the hardest to obtain.

Hey if you decide to part ways with your 5 Weaver Green Pullmans, please make me first in line.

I'd second Rob Leese's suggestion that you make personal contact with Steven Allen Goens.  He is very pleasant to talk with and he is indeed the living encyclopedia of Texas passenger trains, including the more obscure ones like the Cotton Belt trains and the Frisco Black Gold.

In addition, you can probably have a lot of time to talk with him at either of the two Plano train shows.
