Lets see your favorite K-Line Sets

K Line Die cast D&H 4 bay hoppers. These are fantasy pieces, but since Blue Coal was in my back yard until about 2 years ago, I had to have them. The loads, not visible are coated with the dye used in the breaker. I also have several cabooses that I have been collecting, and the No 94 O-4-0 switcher.

I really miss K-line. They always had some fun things in the works. Here are a few sets I really like. Some I have, others maybe someday....
First up the Greenport Scoot. They offered this set a few times and I always liked it. The benefit for K-line was that the two engines on the real thing (MP-15 and FA2 as a Power pack) were the actual engines on both ends of the real train.
This beautiful Crusader set was offered by the Boscovs Dept store. Like the real thing it has two round end Observation cars one on each end. They nest into the sheathing on the back of the tender.
I just like this little Kodak Park set.
I really like the Interurban sets K-line offered. I have both the PE set and a few Pennsy sets
This Porter set is funny it is two kinds of out of scale. I do really like the Porter though it is way overscale and the cars are quite a bit undersized but they are very nice.
I actually have have two of these sets. I am a huge fan of the 19th century ore cars. The Plymouths are also great little scale engines and pack a lot of detail and smoke into an unusual package.
I think this set was released under K-Lionel but I really like mine the color really stands out.
These Steamliner three pack of cars was offered with the Alco set above. I like how the cars are like the Lionel postwar cars but a bit longer and more detailed. I also like that they bothered making the weird one off car 1000 with its singular paint scheme. It was definitely the last K-Line set I ordered from the catalog.
I miss K-line. They offered fun cars and sets and really kept things interesting while keeping the big guys in check price-wise.

KHYADEN93,
In reality I own only one full K-Line Train and I just picked it up, over the last few weeks. I purchased a 1980's Conventional K-Line Coca Cola Train, to add to my Christmas layout. The old 2224 Switcher Engines pulls the 6 Coke Car Consist, smooth as glass, especially thru the DCS TR Z4K mode.

The Spirit of Conrail GP38 is my favorite KLine piece
This the best I can do......can't run Kline 21" cars, so I substituted Atlas......My favorite Kline engine, the New Haven EP-5, right down to the pick up rail shoes that take on power when the consist gets into the New York Central trackage zone....

I like that Crusader set! When were they made?

Eleven 21" Santa Fe passenger cars pulled by MTH PA's A-B-B-A video.
For me, K-line had, by far, the best scale size passenger cars on the market; All aluminum with interior detail and people. Sad that they are no longer in business.

Mine is the American Freedom Train, I will find a picture.
My 15" B&O 6 car set.
Also have the DL&W 15" 6 car set, but does not look right with the LC+ camelback pulling them. Waiting for the LC+ hudson to arrive to pull them.

I have the K-Line Interurban set 2703 in Reading Company, the K-Line Plymouth switcher set in Reading Lines, the K-Line Coca Cola bears hand car set, and the 15 inch Reading Crusader passenger cars.
K-Line made some nice stuff over the years they were in business.
