I have just purchased the MTH 20-3105-1 second hand... As your are a fan, can you advise me what where the correct passenger coaches to go behind this loco? I gather they had 'Empire State Express' down the side above the windows, and I've seen written they were silver with black roofs like the loco... but I can't work out what the set/s MTH part numbers were.

the Empire State cars are all silver....no black roof! If you want expensive then buy Lionel cars, if you want nice and 18” long and aluminum....get the mth version made a few years ago. I will send you pics and the number tomorrow.
