Picked up my new Milwaukee Rd. train shed today. I just happened to be at Menards today and saw they were on the shelf so I filled my order. Bigger then I thought, need to do some track work to get positioned better and decorated.

The MR sign blinks or constant on. There is a switch to turn off interior lights.

Have a great Thanksgiving.

Frank

i like it and was looking at one and considering how out of place it would look on an s gauge layout. Do you happen to have an s gauge car you could place in the doorway and snap a picture?  I was thinking the only thing that would obviously be out of scale would be the door (people) and windows.

Thanks

Chris,
The footprint is 21-1/2" x 11-1/4".

Thomas,
The sign was sticking out from its frame and I pushed it back in place and it feels secured with some kind of glue, my guess it would come off fairly easy.

Very nice Frank. What is the overall length of the building? I like the building the only problem is if I have enough real estate to shoe horn it in!

Thank you.

I do not recall a instruction sheet it may have been on the package it came in. I will have to do some digging to check.

Here is the power supply I use. They also have a 3 line power supply.

I'm only guessing that the Menard's loco shed uses the same power specs as the other Menard's buildings. You need to use the special Menard's power pack, as the voltage is odd and low. Only 3 or 4 volts if I recall correctly. I bought the power pack with three connectors, then added splices in the wiring to add length so the male power pins reach the female port in the buildings I have. They are really nice buildings, but the odd light power situation is a bit of a drag.

Think someone posted earlier that is the same voltage as the Lemax Xmas buildings.

I have a Milwaukee Road train shed I purchased some time ago and I am just now getting around to hooking it up.  I have a couple of questions as I am having trouble with it.  First, I assume that it takes 4.5VDC like other Menards buildings (and also Lemax carnival rides).  I am supplying 4.5VDC to the shed as I measured it going in at the power connector.  Secondly, next to the power input where you attach the power barrel plug there is a pushbutton switch.  With the power supplied to the shed, I push the button but nothing happens.  Unfortunately, I have no instructions for this shed and I couldn't find any on Menards website.  Any thoughts on what might be wrong?  I'm beginning to thing that possibly the power leads to the board from the connector might be reversed.  I haven't tried reversing the wires as I don't want to really screw things up.  Would it hurt if I tried this?  Any thoughts are appreciated!
