Currently on TCM is this move starring Randolph Scott,Ella Rains,Jane Wyatt,Victor Jory (bad guy) and other notables. The movie is about building the CP through the Rockies to Vancouver. It has all of the elements:bad guys,indians,action,scenery,etc. Check it out sometimes.

Today must be train day on TCM. 'Murder on a Private Car' just ended. Featured were lots of SP steam,yard action,roundhouse action,and a runaway passenger car loaded with dynamite, the stars and supporting cast. Lots of great SP action,including doubleheaded steam and passenger trains in the mountains. Fast train action.

Sadly, TCM is one of several networks popular elsewhere that my cable provider doesn't offer...
Netflix DVD list has neither.

LOL. Our ilk was represented in TERROR ON A TRAIN. An old codger approaches at the end of the movie after the second bomb was detonated and Glenn Ford climbs off the train and asks, "Can I have a go at it now? Can I climb on the train? I like trains! I like trains!"
