MTH Great Northern Paint Match

Does any know if there is a match for the Great Northern green/brown scheme used on the MTH F3's? I need to do a touch up, but the scale paints I have, Scalecoat and Floquil are off in color.

To be accurate, the Scalecoat and Floquil are probably correct - it's the MTH Great Northern colors that are off.    MTH is often color-challenged, I've found.

Tried using Tru- color to match MTH paint but Badger Modelflex was the closest and easiest to apply.  

Green and brown? No such scheme for Great Northern. Green and orange? Yes. 

In my opinion the orange that MTH uses is very similar (if not the same) for GN and BNSF. So, you might want to try TruColor BNSF Orange to match MTH paint.  This is a different shade than their GN orange. 

I have not tried this myself. Please share what you learn, thanks!

While some of the MTH renderings of Glacier Green and Big Sky Blue were definitely off back in the 1990s MTH has been very accurate with their Great Northern colors for many years now.  Their NP colors are accurate too.  The GN and NP historical associations have done the hobby a great service by making accurate color information and drift cars available to modelers and manufacturers.
