I am trying to find some HO and O Scale models of the railroads I grew up with around South Carolina.  I have the Southern Main pretty much covered.  But the former Seaboard/Family Lines branch lines in the area of upstate SC were a rail fans best dream.  I am sharing a few pics taken by Jim Owen....only for the use of helping ID the locos in use around Anderson SC. These Seaboard locols ran with Uboats, GP38's, etc...all with 4-wheel trucks.  I was able to see some of this as a kid in the early 80's.  By the time I was  real railfan who could get out and about...this was ALL gone.  Now a shortline runs whats left of the trackage and has attracted new big business. Please keep in mind that the pics are copyrighted by Jim Owen and can't be removed or stored...just for use in this post.
