Hi,

I have asked Dave at LBR Restorations to make me some custom Tennessee Central decals. I need a picture of a Tennessee Central 40ft steel box car or PS 1 box car. I have searched the net with no luck at all, just a few pictures of  TC cabooses, hoppers, and of all things a couple pictures of TC chicken cars are available.

If anyone has a picture of a TC box car I would appreciate a copy. I do have an email and pictures of from an individual who sent me pictures of TC outside braced box cars (single sheathed).

Thanks for your help,

Richard Gonzales

If it's steam era that you want it just happens that Norm at PROTOCRAFT offers a 1937 AAR box car in TC:

AND the decals for them from 1937 through the 50's:

Thanks Rob,

I will look into those Tennessee Central decals. I will have to pass on those brass 1937 AAR box cars. If I got caught putting 3 rail trucks and couplers on one of those brass box cars I would be sent straight to "Train Heck."

Quite welcome Richard!

I'm living in Train Purgatory myself, having sinned by indulging in both P:48 and 2/3 rail toy trains.  I have those brass box cars (stunning models)  and I also have a whole bunch of fun trains like billboard reefers and containers that we are going to set up in a nice garden railroad to enjoy outside.   But I keep all my rivet counting inside the house.
