Traffic has been getting heavier in recent years, especially at this time of year. The town has decided it was time to install a new traffic light at the intersection of Church street and Firehouse avenue due to the recent close call the mayor had with a Dugans delivery truck.

I just installed this yesterday and I think it is a well made and great little traffic light. The timing unit is located in the control box on the side of the pole. If anyone is interested this light was made by Leonard Traffic Lights. I also ordered the optional blinking light feature in case I wanted just a flashing yellow or red light (like can be seen by fire department buildings).

N5CJonny,

Looking good!  This reminds me of Cooperstown, Butler County, Pennsylvania!  (There is a Cooperstown in neighboring Venango County too)  There was a blinker the whole time I was growing up and started driving.  The volunteer fire department could control it, since their station was just a block away.  At one point, they finally put up a traffic light.

Blessed is The Man that trusts in the LORD, whose hope is in Him.  Amen to that!!

Dave, I remember those, but it was a long time ago.  I do not remember where I saw them, though.  Haven't thought of them in years.
