Do you need to use colored ink or just plain black??? I have not tried yet. Tell me about the glue you used etc.

This is a neat site. I had seen something like it before, but not as well set up.
I used that other site and made some brick for a foamcore building shown in the background of this photo - the three story one farther back with two rows of windows at the top and a long white sign on the front. I printed it on a color laser printe on normal paper. From four feet away - as close as you can get to it since it is back in the layout - it looks perfect. You have to be less than a foot from it to tell its just paper.

Brad, I just used a regular color printer on plain paper. Glued to foam core board with spray adhesive. As Lee mentioned, it was at the rear of the layout where it was difficult to tell that it was not 3 dimensional....
Years ago someone posted a way to do this using Microsoft Word. I don't remember the details. Maybe someone saved the method...

Scenic Express in Delmont PA has embossed brick and cut stone on paper I used it in my tunnels and between my lower and upper levels. It looked really good. Choo Choo Kenny

I want to send this to a photo lab and have it printed on photo paper, matt finish, so it holds the color and will not fade. Hope this can work.

It is the Premier Hotel, a slightly bashed version of the Woodland Scenics built-up Emporium. Since I had Lionel's Legacy Hotel down the street, I decided to name this the Premier. I added a full first floor interior and LED lighting, etc.

Malcolm, I too have been playing around with the Clever Models buildings, mostly in Photoshop up to this point. I have to say, I am starting to lean a bit more "mixed media" in terms of the card stock buildings, meaning, starting with the Clever Models and modifying in PS to my liking. Then add Tishy(sp?) windows or glazing, add on plastic or metal parts, (down spouts, conduit etc.) and wood details (mostly stairs). While I have only completed one building I have a few "flats" that I have been training with and just love the results. Printed brick especially looks more realistic than what I can achieve with any other method that I have tried. I will probably look to work with a few wooden buildings over the winter.

Already had, will be used in sooo many places!
I have used printed paper for the finishes on all of my buildings so far.
Several of them have the patterns from the paperbrick UK website.
