Anyway, snowplow pilots on standard gauge, modern steamers were never common, so

far as I know, but were not unheard of, either. If you want to freelance a modern steamer

with a plow pilot (and it could look pretty cool), it would not be "wrong".

 

Don't reject the On3/On30 plows out of hand; they may be large enough for your

needs. They are "O scale", even if for narrow-gauge equipment - check proportions.

Also, the common plastic "diesel plow" would not look bad, and could easily be re-shaped

and customized with styrene and filler.
