I was wanting to buy four brass nameplates for a 514 Christmas boxcar. So,I called Midge at MTH, and to my surprise, she did not have any that read Christmas Express.

I was very surprised to hear this since the Christmas Express sets and cars have been made for close to 10 years. Has anyone seen these with any of the Tinplate Parts Dealers?

MTH only has one that read either MTH Lines or 514.

Joe,

One of your few options is the bay. There are a few sellers that I'm aware of that sell almost new Std Gauge parts. Yes, there are those who buy like new trains just to part them out. In some cases these are the same individuals that part out vintage tinplate, Std & O-Gauge.
