Your layout and especially your weathering talents are very impressive.

I got a bit worried when Tom McComas didn't show up at York last month.  First time I had ever seen him miss a York meet.  I had intended to buy No. 3 at York as I traded e-mails with his office staff a couple weeks beforehand & they said it was going to be on sale then.... No Tom.   Will have to mail order.

While we are pointing out individual contributions to Toy Train Revue 3 (in full disclosure, the prewar Gilbert Flyer 3/16” scale O gauge segment is my humble collaboration with Tom and Joe), we should also recognize that there are several segments in TTR3 not mentioned in this thread that are worthy one’s attention and enjoyment. For one example, the restoration of the Eden Springs live steam railway is an ongoing Herculean task. Many good things to cite, a synopsis for which is offered for your consideration here …

I'm glad you spoke up because I wanted to let you know, as well as everyone else on the forum, what an awesome presentation you did for TTR3.

You are definitely a scholar of everything Flyer and have amassed an amazing collection.

I have to admit that I don't pay much attention to AF articles, etc. but I was riveted to the screen with your segment.

Good job and thank you for your review-of-a-review. Well done!

BTW, you and Dennis have an open invitation to re-visit my layout anytime.
