Ben, it does have a siren.  Gerry and I share a liking for fantasy locomotives.  Gerry is going to have Jeff do a FDNY locomotive in red.

Nice engine. Of course Marty's layout is great. When I was there in July I really enjoyed seeing his GG1's running and powered by the overhead catenary.

Ben you should have one (GG-1) painted up in "Ballentine" markings!

Hey Andy, it will probably be about 6 months until the FDNY one is done and I get it. But you can be sure that they will be running side by side and there will be a video.

BTW, I have one other engine that Jeff at JDS worked on. He really does exceptional work. Marty, Dotty and I were blown away by this engine. He is in the orange hall at York.

Very nice Gerry.  I agree with Ben that it definitely needs a siren and some cars.  Boy is that shiny!  But of course you realize that you shouldn't show it to any N&W Historical Society member.

Hey bill we were talking about you today when I ran into Gerry, Erol and Brian at Allentown. Of course it was all good! Yea right.

JDS does some fabulous work, he is doing a ps2 upgrade plus changing the motor from a pull more to a can motor. It should be great.

It was a pleasure to meet you last week Jerry. Great lookin Engine. Being a retired firefighter can't wait to see the FDNY model.

Gerry and Jeff, the pressure is on.  I also love fantasy paint jobs.  I told Gerry I always wanted a NYC Lightning stripe GG-1 and he had one.

I remember a few years ago a member had a smaller GG-1 painted in Northern Pacific.  I want to do one in a scale G.

Gerry, Dotty and Marty...that's a real top notch paint job...and a group well worth memorializing!!  Jeff Steinbacher seems to do great work.  It will also be fantastic if Jeff Sohn would get back into painting again!!  Regards to you great folks.  Jim

We'll have to make sure we plan it a bit better when I come up with the "Fire Engine" so that more people will be able to see it and enjoy it. I had just received this engine and was really excited with the job Jeff did. He does really great work. So I called Marty a couple of days before and just came up. No real planning, so it was just a "pot luck" thing.

Jeffrey Steinbacher does really great stuff.
