I know in the spring, there was just a flyer. I'll call Joe on Monday and ask.
Don
They will release it the week of October's TCA show.

I wish they'd do a re-run of the Milwaukee Road rib-side cabooses. I missed the boat when they originally came out and now they're all being hoarded by other Milwaukee geeks.
I've got my two and the only way to get them is to pry them from my cold, stiff fingers! Sure, they were over $500 for the two of them, and that's all the numbers that they offered, but when they were gone, where was I gonna get more? From now on, for more cabooses, they're gonna be woodside or older style steel plate, both made of injection molded plastic.
Recommend: If you see one on e-bay, or sny other medium; grab one as quickly as you can! I can't imagine that Weaver would do another run.
Now, if they were to offer one of Milwaukee's branch line combines, which served as cabooses on the Road, I would be back in line for a couple of those, too.

I wouldn't expect much. I was told by a dealer recently that they are scaling way back on their offerings. If they are correct we have already seen the last brass steam offering.
I spoke to Joe yesterday, and the catalogs will be available at York. I'm sure they may already have them at the factory. It will be a full catalog, not a flyer like the spring.

Nobody else has produced the Central Vermont RS11 Locomotive in the 1970's bright green and bright yellow paint scheme.

I love the Weaver offerings.
I’ve been bugging Joe several years now for 40’ & 50’ combination door box cars.
I hope he has finally come through with a variety of something new for O. Since they went to die-cast trucks and couplers as a standard item, it’s been a positive improvement for them.
Can someone ask at the upcoming York this weekend if Weaver will be making a Western Maryland Potomac steam engine.
This time the on-line Catalog was not posted the week of the TCA show.
Andrew
I just got back a little while ago, and haven't looked at the catalogs yet. The only engine Weaver is planning is the RS 11 diesel, and that is contingent on enough pre-orders.

I have to get a Central Vermont RS11 to run with my Grand Trunk Western GP38-2.
Andrew
So, what's new and next with Weaver. I was looking forward to Mr. Muffins report but didn't see anything.
I emailed Joe to see what is planned.

Had in my hand at OGR Grandstand report LIRR Bradley coach. Beautiful Car, nice detail inside and out Also had in hand the Milwaukee Road Ribbed Boxcar also a nice piece comes complete with roof hatches to load your barley for your favorite brew! But got no catalog for 2014.
Yes there is a fall 2014 cat..it lists 13 different Milwaukee ribbed side box cars including a spent barley car with hatches..brass steam will be Boston & Maine P-4, LV Blach Diamond and a CN K5a. no WM TOFC but an undecorated trailer is available. Now, off to run trains!
Actually they are very common. They could be seen passing thru Roanoke almost every day. Of course, they look a lot different than what will be offered.quote:Never heard of a flat car carrying an assembled switch.
Trains are nostalgic for me, 1950-1980.
I don't have much interest in modern day trains I guess.

Picked up a catalog at the show on Friday. Before even opening it, I noticed it was very thin compared to past catalogs.
Nothing much in the way of anything new being offered except for:
1. Milw Ribbed Boxcar with lower patch panels to represent a 1970s retrofit.
2. 50' TOFC with CP flatcar and Speedway highway trailer.
A lot of the usual hoppers, etc. May be a new paint scheme here and there but I don't usually look at their hoppers, etc.
Sorry to disappoint.
I am wondering about new Paint Scheme and new Railroad or Company names on the 50' Plug-Door Box Cars, PS-2-CD 3-Bay Hoppers, and the 9-Panel Hoppers.
