In his newsletter dated Dec. 18th, Steve Nelson (a.k.a. Mr. Muffin) announced the premium MTH app would be released January 2017.  He has a kickoff event scheduled in his store on Feb. 11, 2017.  Now it's sure money so Barry and Marty can come out from behind their secrecy bond and confirm.  Then we can all relax over the holidays.

Meanwhile, me and my little handheld MTH v4.x remote seems to run all my layout trains just fine, thank you. No fuss, no muss.

Geeze, some people so impatient, like a kid on Christmas morning for the next shiny bauble.

And besides I am the last person in the world who does not own a smart phone, Ipad, I phone I whatever.  My little 1990 era flip phone lets me make and receive phone calls, can't take pictures, send text, boil eggs, wash dishes etc.  Sometimes less is more.

it's for the people like me who may have upgraded to 5.x for whatever reasons including some bugs in 4.x versions that messed up running consists.

I didn't want the latest, greatest...

I just want my consists to run correctly. 5.x was worse for me than any bugs in 4.x. It appeared to me that the bugs weren't cured and may have been built upon to make matters worse. If you only run one or two engines at a time, you probably don't know what I'm describing.

I believe we're waiting for the new version to cure some of the bugs, so we can run large consists better.

I can press the direction button to try and cure one bug in 5.0. It doesn't work when an engine gets messed up.

If you want to just stay basic, I would just run with a handle on a Z4000.

Not sure if this was covered or the next upgrade will include but how can I sort my engines in order ??

I have 24 engines and no rime or reason how they appear on my list.

Thanks !

You can do that now.  First decide what "order" you want to put your engines in.  Second change the address of all 24 engines to number 25 or higher up to 99.  Then change each one one by one to where you want it to be in the 1 to 24 address range.
