In looking for a culvert loader/unloader pair I came across an unloader with a Lionel label "346 6-37952". I though the 346 was a manual loader but the 6-37952 and the description on the box say that it is motorized. If this 346 is motorized how does it differ from the 345?

The 6-37952 IS a "345" motorized(can motor) model, based on the motorized(vibrotor) postwar catalog # 345. Every one I have seen advertised or described as a "346" is actually a "345", but the writer failed to put on his spectacles, blending the "5" into a "6".

This one is just the opposite. The seller has it labeled as a 345 but a close-up of the Lionel sticker says 346.
The mislabeled box must be the source of the confusion.
