Got a customer experiencing the following:

"On most of my 072 Wye Turnout switches, the actuator does not throw all the way in one direction. The track throw bar however does move all the way over. It only happens in one direction and it’s always the same direction in all of the affected switches. When I press the #57 Deluxe Switch Controller, it sounds wimpy only in that direction. Whereas in the other direction, it is sounds sharp and powerful and throws all the way. I double checked all the wiring and verified that there was nothing underneath the switches causing interference."

He has switched the power wires on the #57 controller and the problem stays in the one direction. He also says "I had a similar problem a while back where one direction was wimpy and the problem was some of the wire insulation had gotten caught up under the screw head. So this time that is where I went 1st – check all the wires and connections. This time however it is only happening on Wye turnouts and always in the same direction."

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Joe

PS I found the following thread - https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/t...ches---is-this-right

If anyone can add to this or if someone 'found' the fix I would appreciate.
