Bad TIU channel ? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My six year old rev L has suddenly developed poor signal on one (fixed out2) channel. The problem transfers to another block when I swap out1 and out2 leads. Strange thing is an old 5v engine appears to be unaffected. Newest PS3 is most affected. Get between no signal and 3s only in the block that is powered by fixed out2. Whistle doesn't always respond too.

Mostly tens in the rest of my four blocks.

I opened it up and assured that the circuit board was not loose. Also tried a TIU feature reset using wifi.

Anything else to try before I order a new one?

No, that will not accomplish anything constructive. The WIU has nothing to do with internal TIU functionality.

Send the TIU to George (GGG), you'll probably have a spare for very reasonable repair costs.
