I'm starting bus wiring a fastrack loop with one siding (separate block) and have a couple questions.   1.  Can the end of the hot and common bus just be wired to the track instead of capping with a wire nut? and

2.  If I'm wiring the siding block through a toggle switch, am i right in thinking that the hot needs to be a separate hot run from the terminal strip, but the common can just connect to the same common bus as the rest of the track?

This will be a small fixed around the ceiling layout so I don't need to worry about expanding later.

This newbie thanks you.
