Lego Batman: I don't talks about feelings, Alfred. I don't have any, I've never seen one. I'm a night-stalking, crime-fighting vigilante, and a heavy metal rapping machine. I don't feel anything emotionally, except for rage. 24/7, 365, at a million percent. And if you think that there's something behind that, then you're crazy. Good night, Alfred.

I found this in one of my late night sojourns into the bay. Hornby 6781, electric, 4-4-2, black LMS livery.

1923-1929.  $100 buy it now, $25 shipping. Pictures are how I received it, not bad. Set it

on the track, applied power and it moved. It is ALIVE, Igor. I think I got a great deal for $125IMG_20180731_173629IMG_20180731_173726IMG_20180731_173808.

Great score John!!    I think you have tastes as eclectic as my own!  Not sure if that is good or bad for you lol

Tried to make a video of the LMS loco last night. After applying magic juice

to several areas it ran like it was new, forward and reverse. Hooked up several

Hornby pullman cars I recently acquired and ran it. Disaster on my little layout.

Cars derailed and wiped out part of a subdivision, lots of trees and several head

of (wooden) livestock. Stay tuned, will try again tonight.

With my new layout progressing I thought I'd treat myself a bit.  So today I picked up my first brand new engine, an MTH premier Alco S-2 switcher (PS3.0) - Chessie (20-20896).  This was released in July and it's a beaut.  I'm still stuck in conventional until I get the layout done and DCS/Legacy added but in conventional she crawls great even around some tough corners that slow down my "conventional" engines.  Pics attached.IMG_0802

I have not received it yet but the Sunset 3rd Rail Freedom Train #610 is on its way!  As with all of my purchases it will be my favorite for a while until replaced by another, newer purchase.

Interestingly, I was going thru my collection of railroad related videos last night and stumbled on extensive footage of another Sunset product I have on order.  In the Heron Rail Video, Pocahontas Glory volume 4 there is some great footage of the Virginian EL-2B electric engine.  They were enormous and I am sure the play value will be in direct ratio of the size of this engine to the others in my collection!

Those gave me a bit of a chubby, considering they are arguably right up there with the GG1 in good looks.

What with the dollar difference, lack of funds and needing another road to model like a hole in the head help keep a lid on the addiction.  Why does Sunset always torment me so?
