Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question but...

In determining which track/switch combination to use I get that it is mainly a matter of personal preference for one reason or another.  What I don't hear much about is the compatibility of using Ross Custom Switches with Lionel Command Control and Legacy systems (how it works, what other electronics are needed, how well do they function, etc.)  I'm in the early stages of layout design and will be blending my post-war train and accessories with the newest Legacy stuff (although I have not yet acquired any Legacy equipment yet.)  Any information or direction to other resources would be greatly appreciated.

I have 30 plus Ross switches with the 2500 switch machines.  I have the LCS system.  Each module can control 7 switch machines.  Why I like LCS, is that I made crude control panel of all my switches in my iPad and control them from the    iPad.  I can see which way they are thrown by looking at the screen.  I an control them with my legacy remote, but never do.
