A 2023 Christmas Layout memory
I live in Pittsburgh, home to the famous Duquesne Incline which is ALWAYS shown during sporting events here. My version is NOT an attempt at realism or "look alike". It's merely representative of it.
The round sign is a Miler animated lited sign.
I wish I had a better picture of it that showed the 'building' at the bottom of the incline that is supposed to represent the waiting area for passengers, but I don't

For this weekend, I ran two trains behind Maine Central locomotives on my 12’-by-8’ model railroad.
Maine Central Class W 2-8-0 Consolidation steam locomotive #501 (model by Weaver) headed a freight train with three boxcars – including Bangor & Aroostook #1407 (Weaver/CMP), Maine Central #36123 (Atlas O), and Rutland #8086 (MTH).
Maine Central F3 diesel locomotive #686 (model by MTH Premier) headed a passenger train with a consist of two Boston & Maine heavyweight coaches by MTH.
The Boston & Maine Railroad was a part owner of the Maine Central and equipment from both railroads was sometimes used on passenger trains between Boston and Portland, Maine.
I built the bridges on the layout from wood kits by Miami Valley Products.
