I recently dismantled an old=, dead Gateway computer. They were assembled across the river in South Dakota. I, rather than poke around with a meter looking for the 12 v dc feed, perhaps someone, I hope, has used one of these and can tell me where the main feed comes out.

Dick, there’s usually a list or schematic label on the power supply that shows the output wire items.
If it’s not there, the CPU power supply is a standard harness. An online search should render a diagram or wire label.
