I've been wondering about the recent LIRR passenger cars that Lionel released a couple of years ago. I haven't seen any pictures of them yet, aside from the ones from the catalog, and I just want to see more detailed pictures of them. Also, what type of passenger cars are they supposed to be?

And here's what they look like, for those who don't know:

I used mostly the cheap figures from China I did  use flesh colored paint on their faces and used artist pens to give them red lips and black blue or green eyes ( just put two dots)  I also mixed in some of Lionel’s figures which are made from K line tooling The Lionel figures are nicer  and fit the seats better  but are  several times more expensive  Other figures are also available The cheap chinese figures are about thirty cents a piece Other figures can cost from eighty cents to up to six dollars each The higher the cost the the more detailed the figures If you search the forum you will find some really nice threats on this subject especially if you search : ppl detailing Lionel’s 21 inch Broadway limited cars

They are a lot of money for being incorrect. Should have open doors at both ends as commuter cars were. Too long for O as well. Nothing like P72 style other than the length. Kline were closer but still wrong. Island model works were what they should have produced. MTH never got it right either.
