I was reading through some of my CTT magazines and the Feb.,2010 issue had an article about making dual O and Standard gauge track by combing the two gauges and using a common middle rail. running both and I was intrigued with the idea.  You have to use 072 curves to match standard gauge curvature but it looks very possible. Has anyone tried this and any unforeseen problems ??

The article was pretty straight forward and it didn't look too difficult. No switches but I don't use then any way. I dug out a bunch of my old standard and have to clean it up first. Wanted to any how.  Think I will make a stretch of straight first just to try. At one time I had  On3 but never thought about combining.  Having a common center rail helps.
