Time to post about our second annual all-gauge train and railroadiana show Saturday November 8, 2014 at St. Paul's UCC, 2227 W Michigan St, Evansville, IN 47712.

 

Doors open at 10 AM CST until 3 PM.  Admission $3 for adults, kids under 12 free.  Dealers, running layout, O/S/HO/N gauge test track, play area for kids, plenty of free parking, handicap accessible, great food provided by the church's youth group -lots of family oriented fun!

Evansville is a great Railroad Town. While in Evansville at the show, ask about Jim Bengerts RAILROAD EXPRESS Layout. Also, you could drive by The Howell Train yard.

The show will be Lots of Fun for Everyone....Wow.

Don't forget to swing by ABC Hobby and see Scott after you visit our show - lots of great trains and modeling supplies as well....

I hope some of you made it to the show - we had almost 600 paying adults come through the gates, and over 150 kids attended as well.  My test track got a workout, and I even did a quick tune-up on a MPC Alco that was purchased for a little guy who was getting his first trains at the show.  The engine didn't budge, and the boy looked so sad I had to do something about it.  Some tuner cleaner, Mystery Oil, and Red 'N' Tacky and the engine finally started running.  The look on his face when his diesel came back from the dead was awesome.
