I received an email from Charles Ro showing prices for the 2014 catalog from American Flyer.

I was pleased to find a listing for the crossing gate accessory again.

It has a new stock number, 6-49899, and a new price to go with it...$189.99!

Charles Ro offers it for $144.95 which is $30.00 higher than when the gates were first offered in the 2013 catalog.

Oh well, I guess the additional cost might be reflected in the added activating track sections mentioned in the

track and power catalog.(page 11)

Now let's see if it really gets produced.

On the original and re-release versions, I don't think the gate lights illuminated.

Oh, this is the S gauge version...never mind.

I haven't found a way to use these crossings on a double mainline. The molded street or grade crossing is the issue.

It's nice that Lionel is expanding their support for S gauge.
