Sweet, as the skinner on T-8 in Lincoln, that scene rocks, Thanks for posting and how you have it operating. Nick
Very nice. I agree thanks for showing the behind the scenes mechanics. I'm sure it will plant many a seed for variations. Great idea.
I have a photo of an old die cast toy that is similiar to your animation. The die cast fireman hooks the woman on the roof and brings her back down with him.I will dig up the photo this weekend and post it.Maybe you can add that feature to your animation.

Ahhh. . . another great project; thanks for posting.
That's cool, if I were to change anything, I'd probably make him move a bit slower.
Great minds think alike?
I found the photo of the animated firefighter. The raised right arm of the firefighter hooks onto the looped arms of the lady on the way up and brings her down with him.I always thought this would be a cool operating accessory for Lionel or MTH to make. The lady has to be reset in position manually, but that wouldn't bother me.If you recreate this animation, please post it here.

Great fun project. Thanks
Here is a couple of fire scenes that I built a number of years ago. The first one I built around 2000 and this was before anyone started making and selling firefighting figures.

The next one is one that I built for a Christmas train display at a fire house that is open to the public around Christmas time. This one was built in 2002.

The first one I ever built which is pictured below and I built back in 1979. It was the main animation that started the Christmas train display at the Wise Ave Vol. Fire Co. in Baltimore MD in 1980 which I still have. Hope you enjoy viewing them.
