Wow, there’s a lot of great front ends pictured today, all looking Great. I wish everyone a happy weekend and Cheers to stay Healthy. Don McErlean, I’m glad to know what the E means in 259E and the 1659E , E Units, a very important device making our operating our trains much more fun, and both steamers are beautiful, and quality made locomotives for their debuts to the toy train market. Although they are older than many of us reading this thread, it proves that Lionel Quality still lives today. Trumptrain, beautiful switchers and great scenery as always, Don Winslow, I love those FM’s, F3’s, and your beautiful layout, wow, Cpowell, Charlie, Wow, riding in the real drivers seat on 611 has got to be a fun ride, beautiful picture, hope you had a great time, Rusty Trague, beautiful two rail pictures, are you O scale or HO scale? Beautiful train. Well, full steam ahead for FEF, Happy Railroading Everyone…A5A70E01-1900-4A9B-891F-0AB93411BF034281C8CC-054C-4DE3-B97A-D8C92C7AB454D1B2A36C-620D-4E9A-8E23-315C480D291B0651A3DF-D1F4-425B-B322-F96D14CC936AA478C671-4B71-4759-A923-9BA956CE7D374397F3AA-D0DB-4465-A6CD-6DF5DC3099204655AAE2-9667-48DC-9260-C60784E596D5

Well, like leapinlarry...I realized that its Friday already, another week passed before I even realized.  Great photos everyone.  Here is my input for this fine Friday.

Thought I might cover both ends of the time spectrum today.  First, the little 152 electric made between 1917 -1927.  This fellow, with his "strap headlight" dates from about 1923.  His little train consists of early Lionel 4 wheel freight cars from the same period.  YES...he still runs and can pull his little train around my flat loop layout.  Makes lots of noise, throws a few sparks, but OFF HE GOES...when tasked.

152 Electric 1917-1926 and train

Next up is the Lionel #736 Berkshire, a classic postwar steamer made between 1955 and 1966.  Also a great runner with all of Lionel's top technology of the time.  e-unit reverse, magnetraction, whistle (in tender) and smoke...a powerful puller, on my layout I can task it to pull any number of cars (although the tight radii sometimes causes a really long train to de-rail in the middle.

Well that's if for me for today.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.

"Have you ever heard, TGIF, Thank God it’s Friday, well here we are and today, page 93, I’ll show a picture from a recent visit to my friend Dr, Jack Fisher, his layout is so much fun to see. These are pictures of his fabulous model railroad."  Larry I knew you had the best toys and the best playroom but you've got the best friends too.  Jack's got an awesome layout just like you.

Hi Don, the little streamliners are front to back:  Blue french Hornby, then red and blue english Brimtoy or Mettoy, and the

red and silver in the back is postwar KBN.  I have sets of the first three, only the loco on the KBN.  The Unique Lines

Rock Island snuck  into the pic, I had it out to photograph it to sell it and neglected to move it.

Best, John
