Scott has posted a video on the GGD website of the production samples of the Daylight he received due here in February including good pics of the brass 3/4 dome.

Those do look great!
WOW!!!! Just beautiful. What time frame/era would this set represent? When I was active in the hobby, I had the full GGD SP Daylight set from the steam era, post 1946, and also had a black (with the skirts removed) GS-4 from Sunset/3rd Rail, to pull the train set. It was stunning, and a big hit when ever visitors came over.
Wow Beautiful are those Diaphragms available for Separate sale @sdmann ?
What happened with the Amtrak 3/4 dome? It is no longer on the website.
They look good. Corrugations appear to be improved over the original offering. A photo of the trucks would help. Can we assume metal?

Why not eMail Scott directly?

I know its getting made, got the bill for it. Just odd the photo disappeared.
I have the first run. The colors look the same. I hope so, because I ordered the dome to go with the first run set. The corrugations on the dome look different from the other cars, as they should.

GGD SP Daylight Samples Dec 2.

That Amtrak 3/4 is going to look stellar with phase 1 paint...although not as purdy as the SP Daylight scheme.

Its getting made! I too got the bill for it. Feb 2022 delivery. If it looks like the SP Daylight 3/4 dome, its gonna look sweet! Definitely a conversation starter!

If the P.E. engine gets done in Feb. or later, ill have to remember to bring over the 3/4 dome car so you can inspect.

Email Scott. IMO it’s always good to have an extra or two for “back-up”.
(Also - Perhaps they can be modified for use with run 1 articulated cars. I passed on them then but would like to see is these can be modified (sans magnets?) for run 1 use. )
These look awesome, I have the set and the articulated cars on order. Now to score those Lionel PA-1s. I have no SP motive power LOL.
Crazy incredible.
Nice.
now if Scott will just remake the congressional and powhattan arrow and a city of LA or SF to go with the E6's (paint matching of course) i can die happy---and broke lol

Perhaps it is time to ask Scott about a 3rd run of PA's? The Sunset late PA, known to modelers as the the "PA3", with the snowplow on the pilot is 2nd to none in the 3 rail O scale world.
