I glued down the cinders first and them let dry. I used white glue with the static grass and applicator next. Then put down more cinders in the grass and soaked it with water. I applied white glue to the cinders and let it flow in. Once that dried, I rubbed in dry cinders to cut the wet look. This was all an experiment so I think I could have just started with the static grass but not sure.

Looks good to me not to overdone I like it, but then I have always liked the way you do your scenery.

I have a Noch static grass applicator and never used it! I'm afraid I am stuck in a time warp of using Woodlands foam seeing your effort makes me want to have a go as well the Steel Mill area has plenty of sidings that need the "Treatment" maybe this is the time. I have to stop being a dinosaur and try new things.
