I was looking at a Hafner/Wyandotte windup train advertisement and noticed that the trainset came with an automatic stop/start mechanism.  After seeing one of the mechanisms I noticed that the on/off levers on both of my engines also exits out the bottom.  So I built my own stop mechanism so that the gondola of the train would stop in front of my Wyandotte Coal(marble) Loader.  Here is a video of what I came up with.

Yes, the church is from the December 1953 issue of Toy Trains Magazine.  I found the file somewhere online.  I built mine with a foamcore base and then clear varnish to make it more durable.
