I was looking at a Hafner/Wyandotte windup train advertisement and noticed that the trainset came with an automatic stop/start mechanism. After seeing one of the mechanisms I noticed that the on/off levers on both of my engines also exits out the bottom. So I built my own stop mechanism so that the gondola of the train would stop in front of my Wyandotte Coal(marble) Loader. Here is a video of what I came up with.

FYI: Hornby has a similar track section used to reverse the clockwork engines.

The little church caught my eye. Is it from the plan in the December 1953 issue of Model Builder magazine? Looks the same. I have one of these on my layout.

Yes, the church is from the December 1953 issue of Toy Trains Magazine. I found the file somewhere online. I built mine with a foamcore base and then clear varnish to make it more durable.
