OK!  Great Tasty Kosher Dogs, Potato, Kasha, and spinach Knishes, Dr. Browns soda, (Maybe a few Cigars)

I am planning on getting there early to setup.  So for REALLY Early risers I will be there at 9 with Coffee. Dogs go on the grill at 10-10:30.  Usual location near the old Gold hall to the left of the bleachers in the orange hall parking lot.  Look for new canopy!  Rain or shine!

FOOD

  • hot dog buns (Email me as to which brands are good)
  • Guldens Spicy Brown Mustard
  • Dr. Browns Black Cherry, or Cream Soda (Oh and a bottle of Root Beer if Rich M shows up)
  • Heinz sweet Relish (Yes Peter you can bring Heinz Ketchup)
  • Cups (Red solo or Berkley and Jensen)
  • Plates and napkins

I am bringing the Hot Dogs and Knishes, Grills, charcoal, and grill utensils.

Please do not bring anything that is not on the list as the grill is Kosher and I would like it to remain that way

Possible topics of discussion?

  1. Parlaying Starter sets into new hobby members
  2. Ideas for a modular system using ANY manufacturers track. (evil grin)
  3. My favorite Railroad (The Reading)
  4. Dave Hikel and what he's working on? (No pressure Dave)
  5. The cost of track pins!

Let me know if you are coming so we can get a head count!

Greg is bringing a table and chairs.......
Another table would probably be good so we have some space to set up for prep. and for seating a few more people.  BUT.......   This is supposed to be a somewhat spontaneous event, so we want to probably keep it to 2 tables.  So does someone want to grab 4-6 more 2ltr bottles of dr. browns? at least 2 diet black cherry  and 1 cream.  I am going to set up as early as 9:00  I still need to get to silver hall and register.  So I will get to the area around 8 and setup the canopy and then head over.  My cell is (443)955-8339 if anyone needs to reach me Wednesday or Thursday.

Now we need a "smiley" with a bow tie for Peter.   Pour on the ketchup, brother Peter!

Andy,

With all this junk on it why even bother with the hot dog?  No way you can taste it under all that dreck!

THANK YOU to everyone who came today.  This very brief gathering is always fun and has become a great way to start York.  Thank you to John and Jimmy who always command the grill, everyone who helped setup and everyone who contributed to the food and supplies.   I liked the fact that we actually were done and cleaned up by 11:45.

I had a great time.   Thanks Mike for organizing it and thanks for everyone who brought something.

However,  I have one complaint. <G>   For some reason we had a conversation about all the recent credit/debit card retail fraud.  Well, wouldn't you know it.  I came back on Friday to find several emails from Chase regarding fraudulent charges.  I have about 20 items auto payed by my CC and now I have to change them all!!!  What a pain in the a**!

I BLAME EVERYONE IN THE ABOVE PHOTO!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though.  I used my card at the Holiday Inn on Loucks.  Immediately after there was a small charge and then credit from 'Executive Hotel" and then a flurry of fraudulent charges.

If you stayed there check your CC account.
