This may have come up before, so sorry if I missed it...

With the new Lionel catalog being released today, I would guess some of the larger dealers will be having special runs, particularly of locomotives, but of rolling stock as well. So when figuring out your order, is there a central site where they are all listed so you can figure out what you want to spend your money on?

I would suspect that these would only be pictured or presented on the dealer making the runs.  I have never seen a all-in-one site for special offerings from Lionel Dealers.

No, there isn't.  2 website iterations ago Lionel did have the info on a page of their website.  As of today, no one place to go for what you're looking for.

Hmmm that sounds like a challenge for an enterprising web builder (not I). Imagine all the dealers having a place to go to drop their special runs at (maybe for a tiny fee or donation) that would connect the interested collector to their main website to make an order. Come to think of it, this is actually a brilliant idea. Then they could run live presentations in conjunction with that dealer and maybe a rep from one of the manufacturer's every time something new is introduced. ........ sort of like a "YouTube" Live "insert catchy train website name-TV show."  Sort of like what one well known dealer does now. Of course it wouldn't be the average run of the mill Catalog show's.....no it would be more spectacular. Limited time, Special Production Fleet Run's available to only the select few.
